DAVAO CITY, Philippines, 18th June 2026 – Davao Culinary Cup turns up the heat for its eighth season as it brings together more than 200 participants from different culinary schools, hotels, restaurants, and companies who will be vying for the sweetest spot in different competition categories at SM Lanang on July 18-20, 2026.
The 8th Davao Culinary Cup (DCC), which is co-organized by SM Lanang and the LTB Philippines Chefs Association of Davao, brings together renowned chefs from Manila namely James Antolin, Brando Santos, Buddy Trinidad, Chris Balane, JA Ventura, Jerome Valencia, Mia Yan, Mike Yap, Norbert Gandler, Penk Ching, and Waya Wijangco.
Beyond competition, DCC has become part of the many beginnings that lead to greater culinary journeys for many Davaoeño aspiring chefs, culinary schools, and restaurants, helping uplift the culinary landscape of Davao and Mindanao.
DCC has become the most sought-after culinary competition in Mindanao and continues to be a platform for up and coming chefs to showcase their culinary skills and Mindanao’s best
