Alsons Development and Investment Corporation (Alsons Dev) extends support to public schools through the Department of Education’s (DepEd) Brigada Eskwela from June 1 to 4, 2026, mobilizing employee volunteers to help public schools prepare for the opening of the new academic year.
In partnership with Conrado and Ladislawa Alcantara Foundation, Inc. (CLAFI) and the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), Alsons Dev donated essential school supplies and extended volunteer support to eight public schools across Davao City and Sarangani as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. Volunteer-led cleaning, repainting, and minor repair activities were conducted at Maa Central Elementary School, Felipe Calderon Elementary School, Cabantian Elementary School, T. Awad Echevarria Elementary School, Tugbok Central Elementary School, and Francisco Laiz Sr. Elementary School in Alabel, while donations were also extended to Tugbok National High School and Cabantian Senior High School.

“Through activities like these, I see that we do not leave our values at work. We bring them into the communities we serve. We represent Alsons Dev not only through what we do in the office, but also through how we show up for others,” said Neil, an employee volunteer from Planning & Engineering Design Development

Alsons Dev’s participation in the Brigada Eskwela program reflects the company’s commitment to supporting communities and contributing to initiatives that promote safe and conducive learning environments. By working closely with government agencies, partner organizations, and local schools, the company contributes to creating learning environments where students can thrive.
