DAVAO CITY – ICT Davao, Inc. gathered its members, industry stakeholders and partners for its 2nd General Membership Meeting on June 5, 2026, at Coco’s South Bistro along F. Torres Street, Davao City.

The meeting focused on organizational updates, strengthening partnerships, and exploring opportunities to support the growth of Davao’s ICT industry.

ICT Davao Chairman Atty. Samuel R. Matunog welcomed the attendees and highlighted the importance of collaboration, innovation, and unity in building a stronger digital ecosystem.

ICT Davao President Belinda L. Torres then presented the President’s Report, highlighting the organization’s accomplishments, ongoing programs, and strategic priorities. The report underscored ICT Davao’s commitment to supporting digital transformation, industry development, and stakeholder engagement across the region. She highlighted the so-called Vission 2030 in bullets such as

  • Verified Workforce Standard
  • Software Manufacturing & R&D Ecosystem

The event also featured a presentation by Don Jon Lapa, Key Accounts Manager of Vitro Inc., titled “VITRO Data Center – Powering the Philippines’ Digital Backbone for 25 Years.” He shared insights on the importance of data centers in supporting digital services, business continuity, and innovation.

A discussion followed where members and partners exchanged ideas, updates, and opportunities for collaboration.

The event ended with closing remarks from Executive Vice President Xavier Eric B. Manalastas, a raffle, photo opportunity, and networking session.

The meeting was hosted by ICT Davao Executive Director Atty. Ryanlee G. Mesias, reflecting the organization’s continued commitment to building a connected and progressive ICT community in Davao.
