DAVAO CITY – The City Government of Davao officially launched Duaw Davao this morning, May 28, 2026, at the Rogen Inn, marking the ceremonial start of the city’s annual summer tradition.

Now on its 3rd year, the festival is targeting 250,000 guests and is backed by a 21-million-peso budget. Duaw Davao is positioned as the ultimate mid-year lifestyle and travel destination.

Duaw Davao, which translates to “Visit Davao,” is a warm call for homecoming, exploration and appreciation of what the city has to offer.

What makes it so special? It bridges the gap between the city’s traditional grand fiestas, blending them into a fresh and modern lifestyle experience.
