Six Eleven Global Services, one of the biggest BPO Companies in Davao City with 3 sites in Mindanao follows this implementation of the strict lockdown measures by the government such as Working from Home, Skeletal Staffing, and the hotel accommodated – shuttled workforce.
Working From Home is entirely one new set-up given to Six Eleven people who are provided with everything they need such as computer units, internet connections and the like…. Everyone is connected with Apps that the company recommends and is able to supply, as the management keeps an eye on work. The same with the skeletal workforce, who are taken care of by the company – hotel accommodation, food, and transport service. Four hotels and three staff houses are occupied. Those are near the location for safety which is one top priority for everyone though there are a lot of challenges encountered by the company with abrupt changes like transferring of equipment to respective homes, internet subscription/installation, clients’ arrangements, and other measures to observe.

“Having been in an airconditioned-office working as a support staff for 6 years, this wfh arrangement is something that I find it as laid-back but at the same time grueling. Laid-back in the sense that I get to work within the comfort of my home. I dont need to wear the usual monday-to-friday corporate attire (though I kinda miss it for some reasons 🙂). However, this kind of set-up is challenging for me especially when it comes to unstable internet connection, the room temparature working ambiance, and ofcourse the banking schedule of which I need to follow ecq guidelines in coming to the banks on top of the number coding schedule. ” Some situations are beyond our control and no matter what we do, we can’t keep things from changing. This is what happened to all of us in the BPO industry. Sixeleven is not exempted.
