The movement for change and progress in Davao City, spearheaded by mayoralty candidate and former first district congressman Karlo Nograles, has gained significant momentum in two of the city’s largest and most prominent barangays—Riverside and Los Amigos.

During a recent visit to these barangays, hundreds of residents pledged their support by signing up as volunteers for Nograles’ mayoralty bid. The mass oath-taking ceremony, attended personally by Nograles, became a testament to the growing enthusiasm and unity among his supporters.

In his speech, Nograles expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support, saying:
“Daghang salamat, Brgy Los Amigos ug Riverside, sa inyong init nga pagdawat ug suporta nga puno sa kadasig! Ang kalipay ug kusog nga inyong gihatag naghatag ug dugang inspirasyon para magpadayon kita sa pag-alagad nga tinuod nga nagapadayag sa serbisyo nga adunay kasingkasing.”

The warm reception and strong backing from the residents of Riverside and Los Amigos underscore the people’s desire for a leadership rooted in genuine service and progress.
