Three agricultural infrastructure projects at Lamdag Farm in Brgy. Pasian, Monkayo, Davao de Oro were officially inaugurated and blessed on May 25 to support the province’s agriculture programs and services.
One of the projects is the P10 million Swine Multiplier and Technology Demonstration Farm funded by the Department of Agriculture under the INSPIRE Program. The facility aims to strengthen the swine industry through a modern and biosecure system that helps prevent African Swine Fever and provide healthy, quality pigs for farmers.

Also inaugurated was the P2.9 million Greenhouse Facility with Shading and Irrigation System to support efficient and climate resilient production of vegetable seedlings and OPV seeds for local farmers, schools, and agri tourism stakeholders.

A new water system was also opened to improve water supply and support the operations of the different agricultural facilities inside Lamdag Farm.
These projects are expected to help improve agriculture in Davao de Oro through modern technology, stronger production, and better livelihood support for farmers, one of the priorities of Governor Raul Mabanglo.

Present during the event were EA IV Anecito Torrejos Jr. representing Gov. Mabanglo, SP Committee Chair on Agriculture Board Member Herv Martelle Apsay, ITCPH Center Director Ruth Sonaco, representatives from the academe, and other agriculture stakeholders.
