DAVAO CITY — The Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) officially announced today that the biggest and best travel expo in the country is heading south. The 33rd TravelTour Expo (TTE) 2026 Vismin Edition, alongside the 11th International TravelTrade Expo (iTTE), will make its historic Davao City debut at the SMX Convention Center Davao from June 5 to 7, 2026. This marks the first time the PTAA has brought its flagship TravelTour Expo to the city.

During a press conference held at Rogen Inn, PTAA leadership and local tourism officials detailed a grander scale for this year’s edition, which will occupy 1,663 square meters of exhibit space. The event aims to draw a target foot traffic of 2,000 visitors over the three-day period.

“This edition is a testament to the resilience and vibrancy of the tourism industry in Visayas and Mindanao,” said Mr. Jaison Yang, PTAA President. “By bringing the 33rd TTE to Davao, we are not just selling tickets; we are fostering a focused business environment where local and international stakeholders can connect and grow.”

Travel with Confidence: Safe, Secured, and Verified

Beyond the massive discounts, the PTAA is emphasizing a “safety-first” approach. In an era where travel scams are on the rise, this expo offers a safe, secured, and verified environment. Every one of the 114 booths features legitimate, PTAA-accredited exhibitors, giving attendees the confidence to book their dream vacations directly with trusted professionals.

What to Expect at the Expo

The TTE Vismin Edition will feature 114 booths and over 100 sponsors and exhibitors, including domestic and international airlines, hotels, resorts, and tour operators. Travelers can look forward to:

  • The Lowest Rates: Exclusive access to the most affordable tour packages and travel deals available only during the expo.
  • Cultural Showcases: Pavilions featuring popular attractions, regional delicacies, and heritage arts and crafts.
  • Interactive Events: A lineup of raffle draws, corporate game shows, entertainment, and a Quiz Bee Challenge.

Bridging the B2B Gap with the 11th iTTE

Running concurrently on June 5 and 6, the 11th International TravelTrade Expo serves as the premier B2B platform. It is designed to connect 35-50 sellers (international tour operators, national tourism organizations, and hotel groups) with 100-150 buyers from the local travel agent community. This segment focuses on strengthening regional tourism development and creating high-level networking opportunities.

“Our goal is to provide a comprehensive experience,” added Dr. Mariegel Tankiang Manotok, Chairperson of the TTE 2026 Vismin Edition. “From the casual holiday seeker looking for a dream getaway to the travel practitioner seeking new global partnerships, there is something here for everyone.”

The event is supported by BPI as the Official Bank Partner and Philippine Airlines as the official sponsor.

The expo officially opens to the public on June 5 at 10:00 AM, following an opening ceremony and ribbon-cutting. Regular hours will be 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM through June 7.
