PASAY CITY, Philippines — In a night of beauty, intelligence, and advocacy, Asia Rose Simpson of Quezon City was crowned Miss World Philippines 2026 during the grand coronation night held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. The event showcased top-tier production numbers, inspiring advocacies and fierce competition among 24 of the country’s Beauty with a Purpose ambassadors.

Simpson captured the crown from outgoing queen Krishnah Marie Gravidez, with the presence of international pageant personalities further elevating the prestige of the evening.
While Miss World Organization CEO Julia Morley was already in the Philippines, she was unable to attend the coronation in person due to minor health concerns, a matter respectfully acknowledged by the organization. Leading the evening was ALV Pageant Circle Chairman Arnold Vegafria, widely known as the Philippines’ Queen Maker, whose vision and leadership continue to shape globally competitive Filipina queens. With another batch of titleholders set to represent the country on the world stage, the question now resonates — will the Philippines once again secure another additional international crowns this year?
Miss Davao and Miss Ifugao Dominate Popularity and Pageant Media Predictions
While the crown went to Quezon City, Miss Davao Region, Jayvee Lyn Lorejo, undeniably captured the hearts of the audience, fans and pageant media. Throughout the competition, she was widely proclaimed by multiple pageant media outlets as the “supposed” Miss World Philippines titleholder, consistently topping predictions and front-runner lists.
Inside the arena and across social media platforms, Miss Davao received some of the loudest cheers of the night, proving her immense popularity. Pageant observers noted that she was the most famous and most talked-about candidate among fans, setting her apart during the entire pageant season.
Following closely behind her in fan support was Miss Ifugao, Valerie Pawid West, who also garnered massive attention and admiration among pageant fans and bloggers.
