Boom! The Loved One! As she answered during her initial interview on coronation night, it is true — she is well loved. The name Jayvee Lyn Lorejo is echoing across pageant circles — and not just because she won a title. She’s being talked about as one of the most loved queens of her batch, a Davaoeña whose story, advocacy and authenticity have resonated with many.
Crowned as Miss Tourism International Philippines 2026, Jayvee isn’t just stepping into an international competition — she’s carrying the pride of Davao and the strength of her roots with her.
Proudly Davaoeña
Hailing from the Davao Region, with strong ties to both Davao City and Mawab, Davao de Oro, Jayvee has never hidden where she comes from. In interviews and appearances, she proudly shares her journey of growing up in a modest household, raised by her grandmother while helping run a small sari-sari store.
Her upbringing shaped her work ethic early on. She learned responsibility at a young age, understood sacrifice, and carried those lessons with her as she pursued a degree in Tourism. Later, she worked as a flight attendant — a role that allowed her to see the world but never forget home.
Being Davaoeña isn’t just a label for Jayvee. It’s identity. It’s resilience. It’s community.
Advocacy Rooted in Love
What makes Jayvee stand out is how personal her advocacy is. Inspired by her grandmother, fondly called Lola Belen, she founded the Pangga Project — “pangga” meaning “to cherish and care” Her initiative focuses on supporting elderly Filipinos through healthcare assistance, essential needs and community-based programs.
She has also extended help during times of crisis and continues to support animal welfare, personally caring for rescued dogs and cats. Her dream includes building a proper shelter in Davao in the future.
Her platform isn’t abstract. It’s lived. It’s personal.
From Pageant Newcomer to Crowd Favorite
Jayvee first entered the national spotlight during Miss World Philippines 2026, where she quickly became a standout. She earned multiple special awards, including Darling of the Press and Miss Photogenic — proof that both media and fans connected with her.
Her appointment as Miss Tourism International Philippines 2026 solidified what many were already saying: she’s not just a contender — she’s a queen with substance.
Online engagement, public reactions, and media attention all point to one thing: she is genuinely loved.
Looking Ahead to the International Stage
As she prepares to represent the Philippines internationally, Jayvee remains focused on expanding her advocacy and using her platform to bring attention to elderly care and community-driven initiatives.
She also aims to highlight Philippine tourism, especially her beloved Davao Region — its culture, people and natural beauty.
The crown may sit on her head, but her mission is clearly bigger than any title.
As she moves forward as the Philippines’ representative to Miss Tourism International, we send Jayvee Lyn Lorejo our full support. May she carry the Davaoeña spirit with pride, represent the country with strength and continue proving that authenticity and heart always stand out.
