DAVAO CITY β Fashion took on deeper meaning as πππ¨π§ ππ₯π’πππ¬ ππ«ππ’π¬π πππ§ππ ππ¦ππ§π (ππππ) staged its 8th fashion show, π ππ¬π‘π’π¨π§ ππ±π‘π’ππ’ππ’π¨π§ ππππ: ππ«ππππ’π―π’ππ² ππππππ«π¬, at Felcris Centrale on December 14, 2025. More than a showcase of style, the event celebrated the creative process behind fashion while standing firmly for a cause.
Held in collaboration with Felcris Centrale and hosted by Ms. Emjay Llerena, the exhibition highlighted the visionary designs of featured fashion designer Rey D. Calajate. His collection transformed the runway into an artistic workspace, offering audiences a rare glimpse into the world behind the seams.
Under the leadership of IEAM founder and president Pau Garcia, the show shifted the spotlight from finished garments to the journey of creation itself. From conceptual sketches to detailed construction, π ππ¬π‘π’π¨π§ ππ±π‘π’ππ’ππ’π¨π§ ππππ: ππ«ππππ’π―π’ππ² ππππππ«π¬ emphasized that fashion is not only about the final look but also about the imagination, discipline and craftsmanship that bring designs to life.
Calajateβs pieces reflected this narrative with bold and imaginative execution. Models graced the runway in deconstructed ensembles accented with oversized buttons, measuring tapes reimagined as avant-garde details, and striking silhouettes inspired by atelier tools. The collection was vibrant, playful, and unapologetically artisticβperfectly embodying the spirit of the exhibition.
Beyond aesthetics, the event carried a meaningful social purpose. True to IEAMβs tradition of merging fashion with advocacy, π ππ¬π‘π’π¨π§ ππ±π‘π’ππ’ππ’π¨π§ ππππ: ππ«ππππ’π―π’ππ² ππππππ«π¬ 2025 was organized to support 50 street sweepers in Davao City under the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO). Through this initiative, high fashion became a bridge connecting creativity and community service.
