The Miss World Philippines 2025 Press Presentation on January 16 at the Okada Manila Ballroom showcased the poise, beauty and charisma of the candidates up close.
Since that day, through the Head-to-Head Challenge and various rounds of observation, their advocacy, stage presence, communication skills and overall readiness for the crown have been carefully evaluated.
This Top 10 leaderboard highlights the candidates who shine the brightest and demonstrate the qualities most deserving of the Miss World title, having a closer look at those who truly stand out.
Miss World PH Winner
DAVAO REGION
Jayvee Lyn Lorejo
Jayvee Lyn Lorejo is our clear choice to represent the Philippines on the Miss World stage. She is a woman of pure class and refinement, very much Miss World even without a crown yet. Her lifelong Pangga Project advocacy for the elderly reflects genuine service and purpose beyond competition. With international magazine features, she carries strong global appeal. Her timeless beauty, grace and sincerity mirror the classic Miss World prototype favored by Julia Morley. Her authentic public speaking, resilience and warmth set her apart. When compared to past Miss World winners, she strongly fits the prototype and echoes the depth and elegance of Megan Young. If we do not send her to Miss World now, we may wait another year to find the Filipina worthy of bringing home our second Miss World crown.
Top 2
MANILA
Anne de Mesa
Anne de Mesa of Manila is our Top 2, with her angelic beauty and captivating smile that instantly lights up the stage. She carries herself with confidence, showing strong pasarela skills and polished stage presence. Her speaking ability is clear, composed and engaging, allowing her to connect well with audiences and judges. Anne’s look is soft yet striking, perfectly balanced with grace and poise. With her natural charm, strong communication skills and confident walk, she proves she is more than worthy of any crown at stake in the Finals and is a true contender to watch. She has a truly beautiful face in person.
Top 3
PAMPANGA
Gabrielle Fuentes Galapia
Gabrielle Fuentes Galapia of Pampanga is also one to watch, especially when it comes to the interview and Question and Answer portion—she is a true mic-dropper. Very pretty in person, she carries herself with confidence and grace. Her pasarela is strong and polished, moving like someone who already wears a crown. With her sharp communication skills, commanding presence, and overall poise, Gabrielle proves she is more than worthy of any of the four crowns at stake during the Finals.
Top 4
IFUGAO
Valerie Pawid West
Valerie Pawid West of Ifugao is considered a frontrunner and even ranked higher by some pageant pages. For us, she lands at Top 4. Her communication skills are clearly strong and commendable, but her other qualities have yet to fully register and stand out. While she may be a favorite to many, we see her as more suited for a Tourism crown rather than Miss World. She has a pretty face in person, though on camera—whether video or print—her look does not translate as strongly.
Top 5
QUEZON CITY
Asia Rose Simpson
Asia Rose Simpson of Quezon City has a pretty face in person and speaks very well in English, showing confidence and clarity in her answers. However, while she is strong in communication, we see her more as a runner-up rather than a top contender for the crown. Her overall presence and impact on stage, though promising, do not yet place her at the very top. She has a lot to improve, making her a solid and deserving finalist but not our leading pick for Miss World as of the moment.
