DAVAO CITY — Ayala Malls Abreeza ushered in the holiday spirit with the grand lighting of its 30-foot Christmas Tree on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Ground Floor Hallway. This year’s celebration embraces the theme “Christmas, Unwrapped,” highlighting generosity, community, and the heartfelt traditions that define the Filipino Christmas.

The towering centerpiece, unveiled during the ceremony, is more than just a visual spectacle—it is a tribute to local craftsmanship and sustainability. The tree is meticulously crafted from coco coir by the senior women artisans of the Bulacan Coconut Farmers Multipurpose Cooperative (BUCOFA MPC) from Malalag, Davao del Sur. It is elegantly adorned with banana-fiber ribbons handcrafted by the skilled makers of the Tadeco Livelihood Center.

Each material used—each weave and fiber—carries a meaningful story of resilience, livelihood, and community artistry, echoing the spirit of a truly Filipino holiday.

Asia’s Pop Balladeer, Daryl Ong graced the event with a performance that filled the mall with warmth and nostalgic Christmas cheer. His presence delighted mallgoers, marking the official start of Ayala Malls Abreeza’s season-long lineup of holiday activities.

With “Christmas, Unwrapped,” Ayala Malls Abreeza continues its tradition of celebrating meaningful connections, purposeful creations, and the enduring magic of Christmas in Davao City.
