Davao City – In the midst of ongoing political turmoil involving prominent figures, aspiring Davao City Mayor Karlo Nograles has announced his commitment to focus on programs that will significantly benefit the residents of Davao City.

One of his key initiatives is to ensure that assistance provided to the underprivileged through the Lingap program is increased if he is elected to office.

It is widely recognized that the most pressing issue today is the burden of hospital payments, which has become a greater concern for patients than their actual health conditions.

In response, Nograles has repeatedly stated that the usual minimum assistance of three thousand pesos (P3,000) will be tripled for those in need, particularly for hospital expenses.

If the current maximum assistance is set at P10,000, Nograles aims to increase the maximum amount provided by the local government to P30,000 or more under his leadership.

Furthermore, if there are excess hospital bills, Congresswoman Atty. Migs Nograles will work to secure additional funding from the national government as an active member of Congress, with the goal of achieving zero billing for patients.

Atty. Migs Nograles is known for her ability to secure funding, as she is dedicated to working diligently to assist the community rather than focusing on blame or criticism.

Medical services are not new to the Nograles family; since 2002, thousands have benefited from Atty. Karlo Nograles’s services during his tenure as the representative of the first district.

Now that he is running for mayor, the community can expect more reliable health and social service programs.

According to Nograles, Davao City has a substantial budget, prompting him to question why the assistance available to the residents cannot be increased.

Even after completing his term as a congressman, Nograles continues to provide medical and hospital assistance through the PBA Partylist, with plans to strengthen these efforts if he is elected mayor.

The residents of Davao City can attest that the Nograles family prioritizes the health and well-being of the Dabawenyos.
