Davao City—Mayoralty candidate Atty. Karlo Nograles has introduced his comprehensive peace and order initiative, dubbed SAFER, which aims to safeguard every Davaoeño—whether at home, on the streets, or online.

The SAFER program outlines a strategic plan to enhance safety measures across Davao City. Nograles’ vision is to create a secure environment that fosters a sense of well-being among all residents.

Boosting Police and Barangay Resources

Central to the SAFER program is the provision of additional equipment to the city’s police force and barangay police auxiliaries. Nograles plans to supply them with new mobile patrols and advanced tools to improve their efficiency in responding to emergencies and maintaining order.

“Equipping our police and barangay security teams is a critical step in ensuring that every community feels safe and protected,” Nograles emphasized.

Expanding CCTV Coverage for 182 Barangays

To bolster surveillance and crime prevention, Nograles also aims to install more closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras in all 182 barangays of Davao City. This initiative will enhance the city’s ability to monitor activities, deter criminal behavior, and respond swiftly to incidents.

“Installing more CCTVs allows us to keep a close watch on every barangay and create a secure environment for all. Criminals will have no place to hide in our city,” Nograles added.

A Safer Davao for All

Residents have welcomed Nograles’ SAFER program, expressing optimism that his plans will lead to a safer and more peaceful Davao City. His initiative not only focuses on traditional security measures but also aims to integrate modern technology and proactive community engagement.

With the SAFER program, Atty. Karlo Nograles is setting the stage for a leadership that prioritizes the safety and well-being of every Davaoeño, reinforcing his commitment to a more secure and resilient city.
