Despite claims of leading in surveys and having most local officials under their party, the opponents of Team Nograles in Davao City’s 2025 elections appear to be resorting to dirty tactics.
Davao City vice mayoral candidate Bernie Al-Ag revealed on February 24 that their team, led by mayoralty aspirant Atty. Karlo Nograles, has been facing harassment during their barangay visits. Speaking before supporters at the Lanzona Subdivision Gym, Al-Ag detailed how certain groups attempted to disrupt their activities.

According to Al-Ag, their team encountered difficulties in multiple areas. In Barangay Pampanga, individuals allegedly tried to interfere with their events. In Marilog, a truck carrying aid was reportedly barred from entering. Meanwhile, in Bucana, a gym they had previously booked for a gathering was suddenly declared unavailable due to another event.

While these incidents are disheartening, Al-Ag believes they signify something positive: a growing clamor for change in Davao City. He urged supporters to remain steadfast, emphasizing that such challenges only strengthen their resolve.
During their sortie in Matina Aplaya, hundreds of residents showed their support for Team Nograles, pledging to help secure victory in the upcoming May 12 elections.
