On October 16, 2024, Miss Irha Mel Inutan Alfeche, the pride of Davao, had a heartwarming send-off at Davao International Airport as she embarked on her journey to the prestigious Miss Earth 2024 pageant. The event, held at exactly 8 PM, was filled with joyful moments of best wishes and support from her colleagues in the 11th Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command of the Philippine Army, as well as pageant fans, friends, and her beloved family.

She shone in her Philippine Army Reserve uniform, exuding bravery and confidence as the Philippines’ representative.

The Davao Queen was overwhelmed with love and encouragement from her fellow Davaoenos. The send-off was filled with hope and unity as her supporters showered her with their unwavering belief in her capability to shine on the international stage.

In our exclusive interview, Miss Alfeche shared her excitement and readiness to bring home the Philippines’ fifth Miss Earth crown. “I’m ready, but I still believe that if it’s meant for me, God will make it happen,” she confidently stated. She revealed that she packed four bags full of outfits, including five gowns, ensuring she’s prepared to dazzle throughout the competition. Miss Alfeche also extended her gratitude to her sponsors, especially KSD Gowns, for providing her with accessories and outfits.

“This is a once-in-a-lifetime journey,” she expressed, adding that the opportunity was something she never expected to happen in her life. With a positive mindset, she vowed to enjoy every moment of this unique experience.
