With a diverse lineup of speakers from various walks of life, TEDx Lanang Ave is set to be a thought-provoking event that will inspire, challenge, and connect individuals eager to share ideas worth spreading.

2. Bobby Yap, the Executive Committee PR, and Demi Ong, the Event Organizer for Davao Chong Hua High School’s 100th Year Celebration, talked about this OG Chinese School to a century of “service, virtue, and excellence.” The duo shared plans for the grand celebration, which promises to be a significant milestone not just for the school but for the entire Davao community. The event will take place on September 28, 2024, to honor the institution’s rich history and its contributions to shaping future generations.

3. Sir Harris Tuyongan, the Regional Marketing Officer for Mindanao at Borrough Lasik Center, highlighted their advanced eye surgery services and their commitment to improving vision health. His talk underscored the importance of accessible and high-quality eye care, as proven by host Sir Ian Ray Garcia himself.

4. Joanna Salazar, the Marketing Manager of The Mall at NUSTAR Resort and Casino in Cebu, had an update about their luxurious resort in Cebu. She expressed optimism about expanding their presence in Davao, noting that many of their clients and hotel customers come from Davao City. Joanna discussed how NUSTAR Resort is more than just a getaway—it’s a Filipino 5-star hotel. The prospect of bringing a taste of Cebu’s luxury to Davao had everyone buzzing with anticipation.
