Davao City, July 22, 2023 – The Davao Bloggers Society (DBS) once again proved its reputation as the premier blogging community in Davao City, as it hosted an Acquaintance Party on the Viva Magenta themed, with a blast. The exquisite event took place at the classic-like monochromic interior of “The Bloom Coffee & Start-Up Space” located at Corner Walnut St. and Ecoland Drive, Ecoland, Davao City to welcome both seasoned members and fresh faces, the gathering epitomized camaraderie, collaboration, and a sense of togetherness that the DBS is known for.

Setting the Tone:

The evening commenced with the DBS Auditor Ms. Athina Angliongto, leading a heartfelt opening prayer that set the tone for a meaningful and joyous gathering. The atmosphere was brimming with excitement and anticipation.

Hosted to Perfection:

Jexx Hinggo, the Special Events Director, graced the stage as the Host of the Event, exuding charisma and enthusiasm. Sir Jexx kicked things off by announcing the exciting Blog Contest and Prizes, filling the room with anticipation for what was coming up. The sponsors, who played an instrumental role in making the night a big success, were warmly acknowledged, adding a touch of gratitude to the air.

Ms. Nep-c Ledesma, the Vice President for External Affairs, took to the stage and delivered inspiring opening remarks, extending a warm welcome to all DBS members. The atmosphere heightened as Secretary Ms. Pau Ruta initiated the raffle draws. The Domestic Flight tickets were given to Emman Alba and Angel Malabad as the biggest winners of the raffle draw of the night. A moment of pride and honor swept through the room as the Board of Trustee, Sir Andrew dela Serna, officiated the induction of officers. The oath-taking ceremony filled the venue with a sense of responsibility and commitment as the new DBS President, Gem Tadefa of Pages Flipper, delivered a heartfelt Acceptance Speech. Expressing gratitude and outlining his vision for the future of the Davao Bloggers Society, President Gem Tadefa set the stage for an exciting journey ahead.
