Davao City, July 23, 2023 – True Colors organization stands proudly as a community-based LGBTQ group comprising 60 passionate members. Their primary mission is to champion the rights of the LGBTQ community, embracing values that revolve around Equality, Diversity, Unity, and Respect.

Last Sunday, July 23, 2023, at 1 PM, they set their plans into action by organizing a heartwarming Barangay Feeding Program. This significant event is an integral part of their annual activities and organizational goals, with a vision to become role models in shaping the well-being of the community. They recognize the needs of the most vulnerable, the poorest of the poor, and by addressing these needs, they build meaningful connections, fostering a harmonious relationship with the community. Through this endeavor, they hope to instill in the community the very values they hold dear as an organization.

The outreach didn’t stop at just the feeding program; their compassion extended to 200 students in need. With great care and consideration, they distributed essential school supplies, ensuring that each student received Writing Notebooks, Crayons, Pencils, Plastic Envelopes, Sharpeners, Erasers, and more. These thoughtful gestures reflect their dedication to supporting the education and well-being of the young members of their community.

Guided by their empowering slogan, “Don’t be afraid to show off your TRUE COLORS,” this community-based LGBT organization accomplished their community outreach program with unwavering commitment. The event was successfully held at the Brgy. Buhangin Proper Gymnasium, a testament to their strong collaboration with the Barangay Buhangin council.
